Update: July 2020

Although the Government has said that Places of Worship can begin opening again from July 4th, that will not be the case for BBC. We are working hard to make the building “Covid-Secure” as we want to be as confident as possible that you will be safe when you do come in. When we do restart meetings there will be a few changes, so please bear with us. Watch this space for more information. Thank you.

Biggleswade Baptist Church (sometimes known as BBC) is a vibrant church in the market town of Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. We have about 130 people on the formal membership list, around 200 people attending our services on a Sunday and several hundred more attending our wide range of activities in the week.

All these people are part of the church, and they include people of all ages, people from many nations, people with a long history of attending church with an active Christian faith, through to people who rarely come on a Sunday, and have no faith at all. No matter your background, your nationality, your age, the way you dress, what you believe or anything else, you are welcome with us.

Our Sunday morning service (with BSL) is at 10:30am, with an evening service normally at 6pm including communion, worship, workshops or Tea Time Church. You can find out more information, and what else is going on in the week by clicking here.  You can find out where we meet and how to get in touch here.  You can find out more about us and our core beliefs here.  We’d love to get to know you!

Update: 17/03/2020 – Following advice from Government and the Baptist Union of Great Britain, Biggleswade Baptist Church is suspending all its public meetings until further notice. However the Foodbank remains open (referrals to the usual number please, 07511367066), and the donations will continue to be collected. We are, as a Church, aware of many who will need practical assistance and prayer over the coming weeks and months, and so invite anyone who finds themselves in difficulty to contact us on 01767 312667 and speak to a member of staff or leave a message. The phone will be checked regularly. Or you can email us on martin@bbchurch.org.uk, jo@bbchurch.org.uk or ellen@bbchurch.org.uk and we will be happy to help you or point you to someone who can.
As Christians we have the promise that God is with us, and for us, especially in the middle of times such as these, and so we want to reflect that in the way we serve you, our community of Biggleswade and beyond. Please be assured of our prayers at this time and feel free to send in specific prayer requests for our team to pray.
With every blessing
Reverend Martin Ceaser, Pastor
